Julieta was finally rescued with her friend Romeo, after they had been seen in a nearby town for several months, hiding and looking for food to survive. They always went everywhere together, but it was difficult to rescue them because they were moving different places. After weeks of follow-up, they were able to be saved using a cage trap.
Julieta has bonded really well with her foster mum and is very affectionate - she loves to spend time snuggling on the sofa. She is more nervous around the men in the home, so will need a patient adopter that can help her work through this. She gets along well with other dogs and is also cat workable. She’s clean in the house and has settled very well and is relaxed. She walks well on the lead, and also enjoys pottering around the garden or a secure field.
Julieta is neutered, vaccinated, and tests are clear for all Mediterranean diseases. She is passported and available for adoption now.
