MORE INFORMATION ON FARRAH
Farrah is currently living in foster in Spain with our wonderful Rosy, after being thrown over a wall into a neighbours garden and narrowly avoiding being given to a hunter. Thankfully Rosy stepped in and whisked her away to safety!
Farrah is a bit shy at first, she likes to watch from afar to make sure people are safe and can be trusted but comes round in her own time. She will need the company of another dog to help her feel safe and secure, she plays well with other dogs and is very respectful. As Farrah is a podenco cross, adopters might find that she has more focus for training however this is not guaranteed and we don’t know what she is mixed with.
It is very difficult to give sizes for young dogs like Farrah as we do not know the parents. She is being raised in Rosy’s home with a large number of other dogs of all different breeds, ages, and sizes. There are cats she will be growing up with and visitors of all ages too. Podenco puppies are very cute, but they need consistent training, patience and understanding especially through the adolescent phase where we find a lot of people tend to struggle. If you apply to adopt a podenco puppy, please ensure you have properly thought through the challenges you might face whilst they mature into a wonderful adult where you can then reap the rewards of your hard work. It is a wonderful experience to bring up a pod puppy, but it is not for the faint hearted!
Farrah is vaccinated, will be tested for all Mediterranean diseases and neutered. She is passported and is available for adoption.
