Evie was rescued by the wonderful Pepi Ortega in August 2023 and was sent to our partner association Mastines En La Calle to be ready for adoption. She is now in foster in the UK and blossoming in a home!
Evie is a little timid at first, but soon comes round to people and loves a cuddle once she gets to know you. She is fastly becoming known for her supy waggy tail! She has done great with the other dogs in the home and is getting used to the cats.
She loves to sleep on a pile of blankets and does like to be in the company of her humans. She has done well adjusting to walking out and about on a lead and harness but does still need a little help getting used to all the stimulation of the outside world. We think she would do well in a home outside of a major city but with time will grow in confidence. She travels well in the car.
Evie does enjoy being outside in the garden, although we don’t think this is a must it will help in the early days of a permanent home if in a busier environment. As she is so human focused we dont think she needs other dogs in the home as long as nay adopter is happy to provide the extra play time and there are some doggy companions she can meet with.
Evie is neutered, vaccinated, and tests are clear for all Mediterranean diseases. She is passported and available for adoption now.
