Epi

MORE INFORMATION ON RISTO

Epi has been with our partners at GPAR since November 2024. He arrived at the shelter with his brother after they were rescued in the local village near to the shelter. It is likely that the two boys had been dumped by a local hunter, as they were spotted on the beach and thankfully were happy to approach volunteers so that they could be brought to safety.

Epi is a fantastic pod with people and children in particular, he is a fun loving, playful and lively boy who really thrives when the younger volunteers arrive at the shelter. He is first to want to play, so we think that he would make a fantastic family dog for those that want an active addition to their lives. He loves a lot of attention and cuddles! He is very good with all the other dogs at the shelter, but can sometimes get a little bit too excited for some of them as he is so playful.

Epi has started going out for walks outside of the shelter to get him used to walking on the harness & lead - he can be a little scared of the traffic that rattles like lorries so the volunteers will continue to work with him on this.

Epi is neutered, vaccinated, and is tested and clear for all Mediterranean diseases. He is passported and available for adoption now.
