MORE INFORMATION ON COSMO
Cosmo has been living in an adopted home for a few years, after being homed by another rescue. Although he is incredibly well loved, he struggles with the grandkids who visit regularly and the family have made the difficult decision to rehome him as they can see how on edge he is with them around. The original rescue weren’t able to provide rescue back up, so we have stepped in.
Cosmo is medium sized at around 15kg and gets on brilliantly with other dogs, and lives with a lurcher but other family dogs visit frequently. He would need at least one other dog in his new home. As mentioned, he is not suitable to live with children, but does form strong bonds with his humans. He can be wary of visitors at first, but comes round quite quickly once he realises they aren’t a threat. Cosmo can be left at home happily for a few hours, and settles well in the home. He walks well on the lead and enjoys his walks. He travels well in the car. He really enjoys his garden, so we are keen for him to go to a home which also had a garden. A big city would likely be a little overwhelming for him, but a suburban area or something more rural would be suitable.
Cosmo is neutered and clear of all Mediterranean diseases and will be vaccinated. He is passported and available for adoption now.
