MORE INFORMATION ON BLANCA
Blanca has sadly been overlooked at the San Anton Moron shelter for nearly 3 years, as we find is the case with lots of Podencos in Spanish shelters.
Now that she is under Hope For Podencos, we expect that to change! Although she is shy with newcomers, once she warms up to you, she is a sweet, tender and affectionate. She gets along wonderfully with other dogs both male and female. She will need a patient home who can help her overcome her initial shyness, but we don’t expect that to take too long. We think she would be best suited to a home in an area thats not too busy, and has a garden, so that she can develop and grow in confidence at her own pace.
Blanca will need another doggy playmate in the home to help her with her confidence, she has been cat tested at the centre.
Blanca is neutered, vaccinated, and tested and clear for all Mediterranean diseases - excluding Ehrlichia and Anaplasma (tick borne diseases) which she is receiving the standard 1 month treatment for now and is expected to resolve. She is passported and available for adoption now.
