Arabella has been in a home for the past 18 months, but sadly due to personal circumstance is now looking for a new home. She’s currently in foster in Hertfordshire with 2 other dogs and a cat.

Arabella is a very nervous dog and needs a patient and loving home to help her understand people can be kind and the world can be a less scary place. She is crate trained and enjoys a space of her own to retreat to when things are a little overwhelming for her. She needs a confident home where she can be gently pushed to try new things and come out of her shell.

She is great with other dogs, very respectful and gentle - there is a playful side to her with calm and confident dogs who can understand when she has had enough. She does need another older dog in the home as she takes a lot of confidence from them. She can also live with cats and on the whole ignores them.

She loves a walk, but needs to live in a semi-rural area where roads can be introduced as her confidence grows and there are lovely calm quiet spaces for her to get out and about. A garden is a must so that she can have outside time without too much stimulation that she can consider hr own. She does have a prey drive and prefers wide open spaces with grass she can sniff about in and have a little time on a longer lead to explore on her own. She does not have recall and must be on a lead at all times.

Arabella does enjoy a fuss and will come for a cuddle in the evenings when her humans are settling for the night. She travels wel in the car and can be left for 2-3 hours as long as she has another dog in the home with her. She will make a wonderful companion for the right home that can give her the time and encouragement she needs to overcome her worries.

Arabella is neutered, vaccinated, and tests are clear for all Mediterranean diseases. She is passported and available for adoption now.
