Consider It A “Virtual Adoption”

Sponsoring the Podenco of your choice, with a monthly sum, is a lifeline to a small charity like ours. The cost of rescuing and rehabilitating these precious souls can spiral, with some pods needing multiple surgeries for severe injuries, or special long term treatments. Even the healthiest Podencos in our care must be fed, vaccinated, neutered and checked regularly by the vet.

A Little Gift From Us When You Sponsor…

When you sponsor a Podenco with us you will receive a little pack of goodies - a HFP Black tote bag with our logo and slogan, a personalised certificate with both the sponsors name and the pods name and a colour polaroid photograph of your chosen one! So not only is it great to sponsor a Podenco for yourself, but this makes a wonderful gift for another person (*sponsorship packs are shipped once a month).

Once you are signed up with us you will also receive the quarterly Sponsorship newsletter - please do note our aim is to re-home all podenocs in our care, so once your sponsored pod has been re-homed your generous donation will be transferred to a Hope For Podenocs Forever Resident. You will still receive the newsletter but instead of seeing a small section on your chosen pod you will see a featured Podenco.

Whilst some Podenocs are adopted relatively quickly, others are not so lucky and may spend a few years here with us waiting for the right person or family. Some pods will be here for the rest of their days, sadly too damaged by their previous experiences or just not well enough to ever be re-homed. Sponsorship for these Podencos helps us hugely! How to Sponsor

It’s incredibly easy to Sponsor. Choose your Podenco from the Podencos for Adoption page. On each pods’s profile is the Sponsorship button and it starts from just €5 a month. You can cancel at any time.
